On pristine sands of palm tree lined,
ocean tides,
we let you roll in.
You bowled out with our lives.

You use our heritage as gimmick,
selling my culture back to me,
replacing my roots,
with white noise philosophy.

You latch on to our art,
and everyone who identifies,
like a coup to erase my peoples ever suffered,
from your mindless apartheid.

Catching beats to a rhythm,
rocking long lost nomadic tribes,
and you want all lives to matter,
when you created ethnic divide?

Peoples as wide in variety,
as the expanse of the glittering seas,
and all that really matters to you, 
is to fake tan your fazed skin to my ancestors,

who you drowned on the brown of your beach.
